Located in beautiful Savannah, Georgia The Savannah Black Nurses Association (SBNA) was founded on April 27, 1987, by a group of nurses concerned about dialogue, communication, education, and working conditions of African American Nurses, as well as the Healthcare needs of the African American community.​

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

The Savannah Black Nurses Association has been actively involved in the community forming collaborative. partnerships to impact not only the the health of African Americans, but also that of the underserved population in our region: Liberty City Community Center, MLK Observance Day Association, American Cancer Society, J. C. Lewis Primary Health Care, African American Resource Center, and Community Churches.
